Fruit Picking Tour (Self-guided)
Each visitor will pick their own quart of strawberries or half pint of raspberries (Mother Nature permitting) into a container provided by Downey’s Farm. Guests will also receive a wagon ride to the field. Please provide your own markers to put names on each container, and a large container to put them in for easy carrying on buses. Extra fruit can be picked and purchased.

Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your tour. If your group would like to visit Downey’s Farmyard Play Area, there is an additional cost of $6 + H.S.T. per person and is payable on the day at the admissions gate.
Full Day Guided Program
Children will pick their own fruit or vegetable (based on availability), visit Downey’s Farmyard Animals and Play Area, enjoy a wagon ride, take home an activity booklet and learn about farm life.
Times and Cost of Tour:
Full day tours are 90 minutes in length for morning, and 90 minutes in the afternoon. Cost is $13.00 for full day programs (H.S.T. included). One free adult (teachers included) per 5 students. All additional guests must pay the regular farm entrance fee. Payment is due upon arrival. Minimum group size is 20 paying people, or $260.00. Please note that only students who are present and paid for receive take-home item and Farm Activity booklet.
Groups attending the full day program may bring a litterless lunch or may wish to pre-order a Downey’s lunch at a cost of $5.00 per person. This includes an individual pizza, cookie, apple, and milk. Orders must be pre-booked and paid 7 days in advance
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at booking for date and time requested for a full day’s program. Deposit must be received in form of check, credit card or in cash 14 days prior to your trip to guarantee booking. Please ensure you put the date of your class trip on check. In case of inclement weather, we have an indoor program available.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be made at least 14 days before date of trip. A cancellation must be in written form and faxed, emailed or delivered and addressed to Darlene. You will then receive a written confirmation from Downey’s Farm confirming your cancellation. A cancellation made by phone or left on answering machine is not valid.
