5 K Pumpkinfest Cross Country
Benefits Autism

Thank you to all who participated and supported the 5k run and 1k walk to benefit Autism. Downey’s Farm was happy to host their first cross-country race to support families and individuals with autism.

Autism is a complex developmental disability, impacting a person's ability to relate and communicate with others. Individuals with autism typically have difficulties in social interactions, verbal and non-verbal communication, and play activities.

Today, autism occurs in 1 in 165 individuals, making it one of the most common developmental disabilities. Money raised from the race and gate admission, will go directly to Autism Speaks and Four Points Inc.

Downey’s would also like to thank Eric from Runaway Events (www.runawayevents.com), and all of the great volunteers who helped make the day a success!
