2024 Photo Contest 

Have you taken an awesome photo at Downey’s farm this year? We would love to see photos taken of your family and friends visiting Downey’s Farm during our 2024 season.  Choose your favourite three shots and upload them to us and you will be entered in our Photo Contest!  

Photo Contest Prizes 

• 1st Place Prize: $250 Gift Card towards Downey’s Farmyard Play Area  
• 2nd & 3rd Place Prizes: $150 Gift Card towards Downey’s Farmyard Play Area  
• 4th & 5th Place Prizes:  $100 Gift Card towards Downey’s Farmyard Play Area 

Winners will be announced by April 1st, 2025 

 

2024 Photo Contest Rules

• The contest is open to amateur photographers only.  Photographers must be at least 16 years of age or have written permission of parent or guardian to enter contest.   
• All submissions must be received by December 31, 2024 
• The photo must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of Downey’s Farm, contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, defamatory, or slanderous;  
• Photos must be taken at Downey’s Farm during the 2024 season.  
• Downey’s Farm may choose to display the top winners and any entries on their website, Facebook, and Instagram.  
• No more than three (3) entries per person.  
• Minor burning, dodging and/or colour correction is acceptable, as are HDR images.  Any other changes to the photo will render the photograph ineligible for a prize.  
• A panel of judges will select the top five photos based on relevance to Downey’s Farm, creativity, and quality of photos.   
• Winners will be announced by April 1st, 2025.  
• Once uploaded on our site, all photo entries become property of Downey’s Farm.  By entering the 2024 Photo Contest, all entrants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to Downey’s Farm to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries in connection with the 2024 Photo Contest and promotion of future Photo Contests, in any media now or hereafter known.

Photography & Filming

Downey’s Farm offers a beautiful, unique country backdrop for photography in the Greater Toronto Area.  We invite you to snap away but please keep the following information in mind while at the farm:  

Photography Sessions:

Professional Photography must be prearranged and booked through Downey’s Farm. Please email info@downeysfarm.com to receive more information, permit form and fees. Any photo sessions without a permit will be asked to leave. Photography must occur during operation hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday.There are no photography permits available on weekends.Downey’s Farm is not a location to host mini-sessions as Downey’s Farm has an exclusive photographer.
